Official Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 Launch Video

Looks like this weekend is full of Wave 4 news. Thanks to a tip from Chrilo, and after a bit of trial-and-error on our end, we discovered the following Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 launch video from the http://windowslivepreview.com/essentials website. Seems like these were just put up recently as they weren’t available before today. Check it out below:

    Wow … it actually pulled together what Live Essentials is really about. Great stuff … and I can’t wait to get my hands on Windows Live Wave 4. Just so Hotmail gets rid of the footer text… ;)

        Not that I know of for sure, but I’m hoping it will with the Wave 4 release. Please, Microsoft :)

      If they dump the footer txt, I’ll be one of the first to dump my exchange provider and go hotmail/live domains. Hopefully they will also add the ability to add sub-folders. I *can* live without sub-folders though… if everything else is on point.

    They did a really good job tying all of the Windows Live products together in that video.

    Now Microsoft, why don’t you try create that video on Windows Live Movie Maker :P

    Awesome job guys/girls. Hope the june 3 rumour is real . In the mean time i’ll keep going to this site in hopes of learning more about the change if any Windows Live Home will have

      It’s only logical that the services kick in before the bits are released. They need to test and ensure the services are working properly, so when people are using the software everything works seamlessly when pushed to the cloud.

      Yes you can use Mesh to sync PC and Mobile

        Are you saying the new Windows Live Sync will sync with mobiles?

        As I tried to sign up a friend for Live Mesh a month or two ago, signing up for Live Mesh was fine, but Live Mesh for Mobile was closed to new sign ups. Even though I had an old .cab for the Live Mesh Mobile client, it would not logon with the username. You can access a mobile version of the Live Mesh website on a mobile, but the client that actually syncs your device will not work for new users.

    How do I test, I put my e-mail from MSN and password and can not enter Windows Live Preview.
    Anyone know how I enter?
